1 | It All Started One Day When . . .

Updated: Jan 1, 2021

1 | A baby girl was born in the French Canadian province of Quebec in the early 1970s. Now, her mother’s son would have a baby sister.

Her father, her mother’s husband, seemed to be very disinterested in all of it. While he was happy to have a little girl and boy, he let his wife do everything while he worked and quit. Worked and quit. The young family of four was forced to move three times in that city, due to eviction notices because of non-payment. The last move the family made was, when the little girl was 4 1/2 years old, they moved from Quebec to a small southeastern state in the United States.

And that is how the little girl gained dual citizenship with Canada and the United States.
